The beautiful thing about Indian food in India is that there are PLENTY of restaurants inside and off the street to the point where you don't have to visit not ONE goop scoop stand and risk shytting your stomach lining violently out ya ass from the nature of the food. But attention and clout sells, so the inherent nastiness of it always gets views.
You mean you gotta go where they prepare food in secret where you cant see the asshands touching everything?!?!?!?:scust:

And even then you can get got, but it's a start in the right direction when trying to source food in India.
Ironically my Phys Ed teacher was from India, Indian (Whichever god he prayed to rest his soul) and he said to avoid street food off the strength of your digestive system not being able to handle the level of uncleanliness that the common street food maker is moving with.
Even inside the restaurants he said try and use the restroom or take a quick peek around to see what's happening and gauge.
Anyone smelling Mustier than usual?
If you smell sweat, leave.
Women looking too traditional? Leave. (Women in India have it worse using the toilets even if they want to 'cause of all the rape devils targeting female toilets for the obvious)
If you see any hint of the caste system happening (Slave/Master) Leave.
The best place to try your luck is any place that goes out of it's way to look clean with customers that look like they are eating for pleasure rather than survival, his words.
As much as I'd love to hit India for the music I'm honestly afraid of not being able to get fresh water let alone proper food without having to spend a grip.

Facts. Best chicken I’ve ever had was when I lived in India. I was over there damn near a year and they ain’t miss ONCE on the chicken. Most people we interacted (driver, co-workers, etc) with said don’t fux with the street food and we never did

Only food I consumed off the street was Irani chai and fruit with peels (bananas, oranges etc

Now Thai street food at the night market

not taking that chance and indian is my favourite cuisine. i had to train an offshore team in bangalore some years ago and wouldn't even eat a mcdonalds. what i did allow for was my coworkers offering to invite me to their homes and cooking for me. which i accepted, where i could assess the cleanliness of their environment and their cooking practices. it also helps they were westernised, middle class, and professional which eased some of the tensions as well as them living in newer high rises. was only there for three days and had two separate co-workers invite me to their homes to cook and the the third day they both brought me prepared food from home after i got comfortable. had no problems. and the food was exquisite.

And unfortunately, that's a thing that isn't as bad as some would make it seem, because in alot of places like that where people strive for 'authenticity' in India, not bathing/showering/washing your hands/brushing your teeth/Digging your cooch/grabbing your dikk/pulling it out/open urination/defecation and many other unhygienic/uncultured shyt is par for the course there and quite frankly no one needs a concentration of that sort of nastiness when it comes to, of all things, food.
And the food, when done right with the proper care is fukkin' fire but it's how you gettin' it and from who.
