You can get your measurements taken from a seamstress or tailor, for free, at most places that tailor clothing or a suit clothing store like Mens Warehouse. Just ask them that you want suit measurements taken. For jacket and dress shirt, they'll take your neck diameter, sleeve length, wingspan length, chest, and torso length. For pants, they'll take waist, hip, pant outseam, and pant inseam.
For dress shirt, you buy a shirt by neck size (14, 14.5, 15, 15.5, 16, 16.5, 17, 17.5) and sleeve length (32, 33, 34, 35, 36). If you have a large chest and back and skinny waist, you will want to buy a fitted or athletic-cut shirt.
For suit, you can do two things. Buy a suit separate, which is the jacket and pants of the same fabric separately because you don't have normal body size. For jacket size, you have the chest size, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, etc. And you can also have length so you can get 38 short (for a short man), 38 regular (for an average height man) or 38 long (for a tall man). You could get a suit where the pants and jackets are sold together if you have a regular body. Usually the pants are six inches less than the jacket size so a 38 regular suit coat gets a 32 waist pant. A 40 regular suit coat gets a 34 waist pant and so on.
On short or long jackets, the length of the sleeve and length of the jacket will be shorter or longer so you don't look like a clown and it appears tailored.
Pants come in waist size. Sometimes, they come hemmed, and some come unhemmed and you have to bring them to a tailor to get them hemmed.

Notes: don't get slim-fit suits if you aren't a slim fit dude. The suit won't fit well and you won't be comfortable. If you are skinny, then they are okay.
