why do you keep tagging me with stupid ass questions, as if you've made a valid point?
I am not making a point...i am asking question.

For one year.Isn't there some law that says if you buy property there you have to live there?
"Where are all these wealthy african americans?"
how the fukk would i know? do we hang out at poker night?
I am no more annoying than you with your prying questions. You rep african americans...thought you had some insight. Or does it limit istelf on bw/single mother/bedwenches.
You never skip a beat in those threads.
if you want to advocate we kill street dudes on the corner for selling drugs, or possibly being murderers, why dont you lead the charge?are your feelings still hurt from the chicago thread?if you want to advocate we kill street dudes on the corner for selling drugs, or possibly being murderers, why dont you lead the charge?
Wasn't Dr. Claude Anderson trying to do something with detriot? I know I read something in passing on here about it.
Nah...I was genuinely trying to spark a conversation on why wealthier african americans not reinvest on the city.
You were the one that was defensive
1. The ones that tried were either written out via legislation (Casinos) or flat out didn't have the equity to compete.
2. The ones that COULD HAVE ACTUALLY DONE IT moved they money out to the 'burbs and had no desire to come back and invest. Not even on a small scale.
3. The ones who are trying now are having SOME success but its much too late for the hot areas. Black folks can keep the Avenue of Fashion, Rosedale, Palmer Park, Chandler Park, the "Mile" roads and more and STILL it wouldn't match the simple geographical value of Downtown, Midtown, Corktown, Brush Park and New Center. Literally 5 neighborhoods have more business and equity than the rest of the city combined.

I'd love to take part in an investment group of sorts.
Are those neighborhoods expensive?
PM me...i am talking to someone else on this site too but i teally want to invest.Comparatively, yes.
In terms of nationally, not really.
Detroit is still a cheap city. But rents in those areas are MUCH more than what you would pay in the other areas. I moved out to 3 bedroom 1 bath house with a roommate and paid $650. Moved to a 1 bed apartment dolo out here in New Center and pay like $525 and I got a STEAL.
It's too late for Downtown, its been bought up already. And the adjoining areas (Corktown, Midtown/Cass Corridor, Brush Park, West Village etc) are all being bought up too. If you didn't get in 4 years ago, you can't now anywhere south of I-94 and East of i-96.
