Buying Detroit

Was just talking to the big homie from Flint, and he was saying property in downtown Detroit is going for like 20 racks.

And he talmbout big ass Victorian houses and shyt.




Can any of you Detroit nigras confirm this?

I never been there but I seen houses after taxes going for like 3g's and there still no buyers.....and thats after property taxes for the year in the suburbs

Most of them need a bunch of work as does the surrounding area. Even if you fix yours the ones around it would need the same treatment. Definitely a project for a very rich person or a bunch of well off people to tackle.

Its possible ... my only advice is if it sound to good to be true it probably is... U always have to understand what u dealing with and some time its not evident untill u actually deal with it . The shyt im going through now .

I bought a crib it was a fixer upper but do able... but this snow brought some other shyt into the picture. the basement keeps flooding and i couldnt figure out why. Come to find out who ever owned the lot next door tore down the house but they didnt dig up the foundation and just left debris in it . So the foundation filled with debris and water is some how creeking through my foundation

Its not detroits fault we put the country on our back for half a century then they turn around send jobs else where . Then we gotta deal with the local cacs on the other side of 8 mile aka the pontiac silverdome the palace of auburn hills its deep but i dont like typing alot

I don't mind sitting on it for a minute. I really don't know what Detroit is looking like in terms of where the city is going tho.

no victorian homes going for 20 g's downtown. my homey got a foreclosure for like 15 on the eastside..it was a steal, needed no work
