Well, it all depends on what you drive and what size tires you need. I know I had caught a deal on some tires for my wife's car. She had some 19 inch factory rims and I ended up getting her a brand new set of tires for $540 out the door. But because we didn't keep a good alignment schedule they were worn out in a year. The best thing to do is keep your tires rotated, keep your car aligned properly, and keep the right air pressure in there to make sure you get the most life out of those tires.

because its the same thing as new...they are like 90% thread for much less cost I have been doing it for years on any car i had, its just I was out of town that time and cought a bunch of screws in both tires so had to buy them at this cost since tire places werent in abundance like miami. I dont spend 450 on a new tire when I can get one that last just as long for 225.
I'd rather cop a new one at costco. that way the tire is insured. I remember getting new tires once, and then one got the sidewall punctured after less than 1000 miles. they only charge you based on the treadwear to replace. so to get a new tire it only cost like $5 based on the tread.
they also fill ur tires with nitrogen and will fix flats for free.
You can tell by looking at the way your tires are wearing down. On my wife's car, the outside of the tire looked fresh but the inside was very thin. After I got the new tires I took her car to Firestone and got the unlimited alignment where I can take the car to get an alignment anytime I want. If I wanted to go every week, I could and it has already been paid for. So now we take the car every time we get a rotation done. How do you know if the tires will be aligned properly or not?
To be honest I don't remember who the tires was made by. I just know that they were brand new and for a good deal and since I'm in the south we don't have to worry about snow as often as some of our Northern Brehs. If I would have noticed how the tires were wearing down sooner I could have had an alignment done and those tires would have lasted another 18 months at least. It's all good now though. You grabbed some Nankang's didn't you...![]()
