Someone deciding to date you is not a morality statement by a man. We need to kill that. A white man dating a black woman doesn't mean he's a good man, or is not impacted by colorism, or is progressive. It more often than not just means...he likes you. Pretty simple but that's why most people date someone regardless of race and there's nothing wrong with that. Date who you want. There's a weird inferiority complex at play from some black women who feel the only way they can feel empowered is via the approval of a white man. What I was saying earlier was that average LS women have it easier than average DS women. Legitimately beautiful DS women don’t have issues. Gabrielle Union, for example, is shouted out by all races for her beauty.
Someone with that face would never have an issue in Black or White circles.


Also- no one wants to consider themselves ugly. Ugliness is associated with dark skin- period. Which is why skin bleaching is a thing across the globe in multiple communities.
