if her last name was rodriguez and looked like that she would still be white.
This is dishonest posting and you're better than this. No one is discounting the racism that comes with being Italian or Hispanic by rightfully pointing out their proper ethnicity. Secondly, let's not pretend that we don't draw distinctions between various white ethnic groups.Italy and Spain are both European countries........part of the same stock that created the 'White' race in the first place.
Man, some of y'all............

she’s italian, and frankly who gives a fukk? not only is it not relevant, but it only goes to show anybody who partakes in that discussion is a “racist” themselves and anything they say about this subject isn’t worth paying attention to. <-that’s the argument any racist can use against the dumb shyt you choose to focus on thereby nullifying anything else you have to say.Maybe she’s a Spaniard?
truth2you said:I think the little secret no one talks about is, the reason why racism is so high in places like NYC with a lot of foreigners, is because they still have an old way of thinking, and white supremacy is still strong in their minds, they just use their "minority" status as a way to hide it. This includes black foreigners as well!
Explain, because I think i know where you are going with this, but want to make sure before I reply back with what I planned on postingOnce you understand what 'White Supremacy' and 'White people' actually are, things like this won't seem odd anymore.
You'll expect them.
The deal with foreigners has a precedent.....

That's true, but even a lot of Africans don't really know their history in totality. This is what happens when you teach incorrect hotep shyt in the schools,a lot of is fantasy dreams of history ,even the African brothers will laugh at you for some of that stuff from the criteria. .
That's true, but even a lot of Africans don't really know their history in totality.
The problem is what some people call "improper hotep" shyt might not be that. Remember calling ancient Egyptians black would get you laughed at in the past, even in the 80's, even though we can now see the people on the walls had afros, braids, and Brown skin. Add to the fact no one even thought to think how could white people or even light "black" people could have ruled the land when temperatures could reach 108f for around six months, and we can clearly see the people didn't always were upper body clothing?!
If it wasn't for black scholars we would still see whites as egyptians.
Saying man came out of Africa was another one that would get you laughed at.
The same for melanin, and dark skin, we were always told it was bad, even with science, now we see its actually better to have. it doesn't mean whites are less of a people, just showing the truth as far as the science of it. Again, if it weren't for these "hoteps" melanin wouldn't be seen in a positive light, accept for the actual people who studied it, and weren't biased.
True, but that is most people in the world, if everyone read we wouldn't have this thread being made.I don't know in the 80s ,but in my time most blacks I know kind of thought of having a connection to Egypt since it was in Africa .I think most Africans or black folks in general would know Egyptians were black but the problem is they ain't no history. This is why you look back since forever you see music groups with Egyptian pyramids ,Slave and EWF. There's even some African tribes have a story in the griots to be descended from Egyptians.
The problem is back then like you have now nikkas don't read, they want to hear it from another brother who does or look at a some docs.
if you read you would know man came out of Africa both from a historical standpoint and from a archaeological and genetic standpoint.
True, but that is most people in the world, if everyone read we wouldn't have this thread being made.
As far as AE, just because it's Africa doesn't mean people thought they were black, I'm telling you in school it was questioned for years. I remember asking my history teacher if man came from Africa, because me and my friend was debating it, and he said most likely, but isn't sure, this was around 88/89. It wasn't even questioned that AE were anything but black, but because I was into rap that was problack or as people say now "hotep" it made me want to question everything. My cousin would take me to lectures, we had the black expo in NYC every year full of "hoteps". I could go in parts of Brooklyn, and the "hoteps" told me stuff that is NOW being accepted by SOME scholars.
As far as Africans, a lot of them didn't know history besides their recent history, they would laugh or not even take black americans serious about history, I guess they had other shyt to worry about, but again those "hoteps" taught us young people because school wasn't doing it. Even reading wasn't readily available UNLESS you went to a "hotep" book store, which weren't in a large number. It wasn't until the internet that things started evening out, and that was around the early 2000's.
I do agree a lot of the hotp brothers talk some bullshyt, and fantasy, but once you sift through the joksters you find the real people who helped us rise. Those days are really done though, because the new fight is science, and economics, more so then history. The prophets already came and laid a foundation for our history, and they were "hoteps" so I wouldn't dis those people too much, they were the ONLY ones fighting the system to show another side of history.
It depends on what history you are talking about see thats what I mean , its a lot of false prophets and puppet generals that are getting praise For example I don't want to disrespect Francis Cress Welsing but when she made a statement about blacks being most of the population of the world that is completely. The only true blacks are Africans or people of diluted African descent. When you confuse other people for being African they confuse our struggle and what it means.
The melanin criteria doesn't sit well with me either, because every human has it its just different types eumelanin or pheomelanin. Even then it doesn't matter
Our history has to be told so we get a better understanding of stuff but I agree we need to stop emphasizing that because we got a lot more ahead to think about ,how ever a lot of subpar scholars came about and misconstrued history, so we really have not siphoned through the real storyline of how we got in this runt.
People need to understand the different facets of Pan Africanism and know which knowledge and movements are true to life.
