I think the little secret no one talks about is, the reason why racism is so high in places like NYC with a lot of foreigners, is because they still have an old way of thinking, and white supremacy is still strong in their minds, they just use their "minority" status as a way to hide it. This includes black foreigners as well!

I grew up with them, ate with them, and seen how they hide their racism with a smile. Once they get a little bit of power, it seems like they have to find ways to downplay black americans. I notice they always put themselves in the mix when its something good about us, or they make themselves out to be a model minority, they are just very subtle with it. The only reason why I know what it is, is because its 2018, and its still being done, so its not just me, I hear others say the same thing. The only black/latin/east asian foreigners who don't do that are those who truly understand history, and the way things got to how they are now. If they don't look at history, constantly around you so they hear your side of things, it's safe to say they look down on you if you are black american. I was on tariq nasheed's instagram page, when he called out black foreigners, and some people even admitted that their parents would tell them they are "different blacks", and one lady said Jamaican parents taught their kids that they are "special blacks"

What's crazy is they are either equal to you, and just a little bit better as far as things like you live in an apt, they live in a house, but they swear they are so upperclass. shyt is crazy. With latins, them nikkas could live in the hood, and the still swear they are better, and work harder then you. I'm assuming because in their minds they aren't straight black, I don't know but its sad to be so lost like that. I think that is why in most major cities latins are living in poverty the most.

If it wasn't for black scholars we would still see whites as egyptians.

The same for melanin, and dark skin, we were always told it was bad, even with science, now we see its actually better to have. it doesn't mean whites are less of a people, just showing the truth as far as the science of it. I remember asking my history teacher if man came from Africa, because me and my friend was debating it, and he said most likely, but isn't sure, this was around 88/89. It wasn't even questioned that AE were anything but black, but because I was into rap that was problack or as people say now "hotep" it made me want to question everything. My cousin would take me to lectures, we had the black expo in NYC every year full of "hoteps". I could go in parts of Brooklyn, and the "hoteps" told me stuff that is NOW being accepted by SOME scholars.

As far as Africans, a lot of them didn't know history besides their recent history, they would laugh or not even take black americans serious about history, I guess they had other shyt to worry about, but again those "hoteps" taught us young people because school wasn't doing it.
