-Turned Super Saiyan 1 and then 2
-Killed Cell and saved the world

In contrast by the time Goku hit 12:
-He was living with a dragon ball that he thought was his grandfather
-Patting Bulma to see if she had a penis
-And barely being able to count to 12

is gohan the strongest unfused saiyan? (counting anime/manga/movies/GT/canon/all that)

Old thread, but Toriyama cited Mystic Gohan (after he got his potential "unlocked" and fought Buu) as the strongest non fused character in the entire series.
Given the new films and the fact the series is about to get another saga, I'm not sure what his stance will be heading forward.

As much as I clown on the Cell Saga, I can't deny that it had some of the most fights of all time.

The whole Cell Saga was just everyone playing around.

Dr Gero taking some already rebellious teenagers, giving them superpowers, and expecting them to actually listen to his crusty old self

As dope a fight as Piccolo vs 17 was, all the energy Piccolo was putting out was a huge signal for Cell to come right through and start absorbing whoadies
17 trying to act hard around Cell
Vegeta coulda murked semi-perfect Cell right there but he was playing around and wanted a stronger fight so he let Cell go for 18 instead.
Krillin coulda deactivated that switch, but he was trying to get some play and he didn't.
Bulma not telling 16 that she removed the bomb from his body so he can't selfdestruct
Goku throwing Cell senzu beans
Gohan going full and not murking cell when he had the chance, which wound up getting Goku and Trunks murked
Goku giving academy awards speeches instead of teleporting in, grabbing King Kai, and getting out
Cell playing games with Gohan and ending up in the bushes

At one point in the manga/anime, Goku tells Vegeta that they'd be killed if they fought Super Buu.
SSJ3 Gotenks fought Super Buu to a stalemate.
Gohan completely toys with him.

My mans was destined for greatness, Goku had to watch the homie get murked to hit that SSJ, Gohan had to train for dumb long, and my nikka Goten just hit that shyt like it was light work. Then turn on GT and this nikka straight bytchmade, on some "Yeah I got tired of fighting" No wonder the Saiyan race got murked so easily nikkas was too busy tryna get swole stead of taking care of they seeds
