Dressing well is not a signifier of having your shyt together AT ALL. I completely agree that dressing well makes you feel (and look) good but in no way means that you've made it.

I know leaches that dress like fashion models. Late 20's, no education, live with mom, front with dad's car etc.

As soon as possible but for black men nothing is certain. I will say that for black men education is a must on some level, I got friends about 35 to 40 living outta suitcases in their aunt, cousin house like bums. I see both sides, and I see how bad nikkas with no bread struggle out here all the negative stereotypes gets tossed on a nikka quick. White boys bypass all that struggle just by having white skin, we can't even lie no more smh.

But yeah I would say by 26, after that it's gonna take mad focus and work, i got aunts that went back to school at 50 and by 55 was making decent nurse money, seems much easier for females, brothers got mad distractions. I work 2 jobs and try to learn this it stuff and I still got bum nikkas trying to say where the party at with no car.

Agreed. I have two uncles who are pretty wealthy. They both still wear the same clothes they wore 20 years ago and they've been driving the same cars for 15 years. I'm not saying they don't dress up for meetings and what not, but you'd be surprised how many rich dudes don't give a fukk about clothes, cars, women, etc. That shyt is the least of their worries.

Dressing well is vital - look at it like this, a bum dressed well can convince people he has his shyt together, but a man dressed like a bum with his shyt together wont convince anyone he's successful. As much as people say don't judge a book by it's cover, how else do you decide whether to read a book or not? By judging the book based on the cover.
