Someone drafting under 25 but needs a stretch 5.. unless his salary over 12 mil??
It's $12M but it's an expiring contract so i could see how someone in contention who needs a stretch 4/5 could trade for him. But a 1st rounder???
I dont know but i highly doubt it.
If they want to run and shoot 3s they need to sign Bertans
If not Bertans, I’m kool with Serge and crowder. I would only do one year deals on both
I just don’t think bam is going to learn how to shoot in 4 months. Maybe he proves me wrong
I think Nunn is gone. They have a team option on both his and Duncan Robinson's contract. I think Duncan stays and they probably retain and then trade Nunn for something of value since he's gotten a lot of exposure in the regular season and opposing GMs are liking what they see in him. He's just not a good fit for what we do here.
But make no mistake the kid belongs in the league and would start on a few other teams
There were rumors that Jimmy and Bam were confident that a big star was coming next season, Victor Oladipo was the name that kept coming up.
How realistic is this: Victor demands a trade and makes it clear he's only going to Miami. We trade KO + 1st + Nunn to get it done?
After the Jimmy trade, I feel that it's possible.
We sign Giannis in '21. But, GS might have the assets to get him.
2 second rounders then
You can’t trade picks from consecutive years and we already owe our 1st for next year to someone.
I mentioned it in the regular season thread but ideally for me the trade KO and Nunn for Jrue who I think would be an ideal fit. Probably not enough to get him though. Trade worked in 2k lmao
Im one of those who doesnt like Oladipo. I prefer my SGs to be 6'5 or taller and plays above the rim more. THo 1 inch is negligible and his quickness makes up for his slight lack of size... i still dont care for him like that. I prefer Beal.
Then again i didnt know much about his game thus wasnt high on the Jimmy trade either but it worked out so far
Nunn might’ve tanked his stock in these playoffs to be honest. I don’t know who’ll trade their guy and take the plunge. Who would we get of value that could truly help us now?
Yeah I don't neither. If anything, the focus needs to be on Bam being more aggressive with his offense altogether. The last thing he needs right now is to be focusing on 3 points shots when he's not even comfortable taking shots in the paint.
I don’t know if Indy would go for that. But Victor would be a cool addition. But also, I’ve also heard rumors of a disgruntled Dame possibly and Beal.
Im not talking about getting a star in return. Just a serviceable big man that can replace Meyers Leonard and/or Kelly Olynyk. The goal is to get Bam some help up front.
Damn in hindsight now yall think gallo wouldve helped?? Only thing that held it up was us not wanting to give him the 3rd year but him at the 4 with bam wouldve helped against LA. Wonder if there is still interest there
Gallo would’ve helped us. Can’t say that he wouldn’t have.
