Texas was the same state where that judge let that kid go for drunk driving & killing a few people because he felt the kids parents didn't raise him correctly... the system... is FUKKED... this is just another example...

Houston Man Faces Jail Time For Over Paying Child Support & Visiting His Son Too Much

“The court failed the child,” he says. “The court failed Mr. Hall the system broke down.”

“I’m like he couldn’t have gotten a worse result,” Elam says. “He could have gone in there with a monkey and gotten a better result. What did I do that my client has over paid over visited and is now paying 3 thousand dollars in attorney fees and is going to jail for 6 months.”

“I can’t be there for my son in jail,” Hall says. “I can’t pay child support in jail. This is not in the best interest of the child.”

Shyt like this is what makes it difficult to just do the right thing sometimes because you can do the right thing & still get punished... :smh:

Goatganda the pearl of Africa
That's what makes it so uncomfortable... not knowing...

For instance... my friend & his 2 cousins went to Vegas a few years ago & witnessed a guy attacking a girl... so it's 3 of them & 1 of him & naturally they go over there to whoop dudes ass. They all got arrested because the man pressed charges... they all have 5 years Supervision from a Misdemeanor & Battery Charge & got 1,000 hours of Community Service each. My friend got fired from his job despite explaining that he thought the guy was raping her... his company was contacted by his Social Worker about the matter.

And guess what? The police report stated that the guy was just some normal dude with money trying to enjoy his time & Vegas who had paid an Escort $1,500 to spend the entire week with him but on his last night she robbed him while he was sleep & stole nearly $5,000 from him. She was also notorious for robbing costumers & had been arrested before multiple times for petty crimes & even illegally prostituting in Los Angeles.

So my guy lost his job... had trouble finding another one because of his record & has 2 years left of reporting to his Social Worker once a month & had to serve 1,000 hours of his own personal time doing community service...

*ALL* because he was trying to do the right thing... over some smut who wasn't a good person...

The system is fukked...

messed up story

and yup

like i said prior you dont know the situation, the dude could have mob ties, or mafia ties and now you have to testify in court

Yep...

It's like I respect & :salute: anyone willing to possibly risk their life helping someone but also can't blame anyone who doesn't want to get involved...

You fukk around & put a dude from MS13 in jail unknowingly just trying to help someone & now an entire gang is after you or your family & come to find out the dude you were helping was a former gang member who was getting his ass whooped for stealing money...

Basically saying if something happens to a person and they need help. The more bystanders there are the less likely the person in need will receive help

People assume others will provide the help I guess

Exactly..Its called diffusion of responsibility.

Kitty Genovese got raped and murdered for half an hour but no one came out to help. 38 people watched through the windows.

That case is in every social psych textbook.

This case is studied closely in social psychology.

Yup same case used as an example in my book from this same class

Somebody who fell on the train tracks is one thing, jumping into someone getting beat up is another.
That's what the cops are for.

Not even batman can be everywhere at the same time. Yet you expect police to stop muggingsand beatdowns?

Out here in my damn drawls
Depends on the situation, but you gotta understand that getting involved in some shyt might not be in your best interest.

There was a cac broad drunk on the sidewalk outside my homeboy's apartment downtown near the bars and he calls me talmbout, "Ayo, should I go down to help her :lupe:?"

:aicmon: A nikka after dark in the wee hours of the morning hovering over the body of a passed out white broad in South Carolina? Some fukks have no common sense whatsoever :wow:
