Anytime you do anything you risk injury or death, life is just about how much risk you're willing to take.

Like I've stated, people know their limitations. The reality is people see that man and are intimidated by his size and his aggression. It has nothing to do with "well what did she do to make him so mad?" Or "it's probably a domestic situation" or "well maybe he has a weapon, one wasn't seen but that doesn't mean he doesn't have one".

Most people choose not to fight if they can. Watching others get harmed isn't a different situation.

I completely understand what you're saying but it doesn't matter to me.

I wouldnt care if they were mother and son, twin brother and sister, husband and wife, grandma and grandson, auntie and cousin. It wouldn't matter to me if she killed his son, raped his daughter, stole food out his mouth, took money out his pocket.

At the end of the day a human being is in distress. There's just certain things I'm not going to subject myself to being a witness of and if I see some thing I'm going to intervene, if not to help the other person at least for my own piece of mind.

I don't like intervening in situations like this, since you're always risking injury or even death. If I was there and I witnessed that, I would probably immediately rush him and hit his head with a fist propelled by the full weight of my arm. I don't believe in fairness amongst men. I don't believe in karmic justice. I don't believe in God smiting evil doers in the afterlife.
