One step closer to*, he ain’t “comin home” off of this and this really doesn’t mean shyt so stop tryin to sensationalize a process you obviously don’t have a clue about.

Witnesses recant all the time, that isn’t gonna overturn a jury conviction unless a bunch of other shyt related to it coincides with it. 99% of the time it has to be some type of judiciary error that happened somewhere along in the process in order to get an appeal and that only gets a person a retrial that they probably will get convicted again or plead out on depending on how strong the case is against them.

This is another sad situation of overzealous prosecution looking to railroad black men, especially celebrities. If the case originally hinged on this man's testimony and the rest of the evidence was circumstantial, they need to toss it.

My concern is that so much of this is dependent on the whims of whoever is the presiding judge on the matter. Look at Meek Mill's case... In New York we have a high number of socially/politically liberal judges and DAs looking to reform and atone for the sins of the past. Something tells me the level of racism and fukkery will be much higher down in Louisiana.
