And you do the same thing too, right? Getting flown out and staying in all-MALE retreats multiple times
His very sexuality is compromised and his code of ethics is non-existent. So much for "Conservative Values."

Why are you guys acting like he is a democrat getting paid by a republican? The both are republicans most likely friends.

ALL these muthaufkcas in washington is compromised this isnt a shock to me, it shouldnt be a shock to any of us... the whole system is corrupt... we've been saying this... You can't fire him, can't recall him... so what can you do about it??? :francis:

Exactly. All of these politicians, judges, etc. are bought out and beholden to corporations. They just give us political soap opera to make us think that we are actually 'making a chance' by voting... meanwhile no matter who gets in, the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer and all the poor people are fighting each other over nonsense while the rich hoard wealth and stock up their underground bunkers to get away from the nightmare they are going to unleash on the surface.

So we're so scared of pulling the curtains back we ain't doing shyt? :gucci:
Pulling back the curtains would expose the open secret that a lot if not of those Congress members are bought and influenced by the lobbyist behind the scenes.

A lot of people wouldn’t be able to handle that truth and would completely destroy whatever trust that people have left in the government.

Your right about that
A Republican megadonor has been secretly funding lavish vacations for Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas, according to a new ProPublica report.

But Texas billionaire Harlan Crow's largesse goes far beyond yacht trips and resort stays with the top conservative jurist. It also includes thousands of dollars in contributions to congressional Democrats known for bucking their party.

According to an Insider review of federal campaign finance data, Crow has given a total $5,800 to Democratic-turned-Independent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema's campaign account and $5,000 in May 2022 to Getting Stuff Done PAC, a leadership PAC tied to the Arizona senator.

Crow first contributed $2,900 to Sinema's campaign in June 2021 before giving another $5,800 in November 2021 — prompting the campaign to refund half of it after Crow apparently exceeded federal contribution limits.
Crow contributed $2,800 in March 2021 to Sen. Joe Manchin, the West Virginia moderate who's opposed several of President Joe Biden's nominees and has left the door open to running against Biden for president in 2024.

Together, Sinema and Manchin have caused significant headaches for Democrats over the last two years — first by opposing much of the "Build Back Better" social spending and climate bill and then by opposing Democrats' plans of weakening the Senate's 60-vote filibuster to pass voting rights legislation.

Crow has also made significant contributions to moderate-to-conservative House Democrats.

According to federal campaign finance data, the Texas billionaire has given $16,800 to Rep. Josh Gottheimer of New Jersey since 2018, contributing thousands as recently as October 2022.

Gottheimer, a member of the so-called "Unbreakable Nine" of moderate Democrats who insisted on de-linking Build Back Better from the infrastructure bill, has at times been a thorn in the side of his party as well.

And Crow has contributed $12,500 to Rep. Henry Cuellar of Texas since 2006. Cuellar, a conservative opponent of abortion rights, faced a strong primary challenge from progressive activist Jessica Cisneros in 2022.

Crow's relationship and lavish vacations with Justice Thomas have raised significant ethics concerns — Thomas never disclosed the flights and yacht trips financed by the GOP megadonor, apparently violating a post-Watergate federal law that requires justices to report gifts.

It also raises questions over what influence, if any, Crow has been able to exert over Thomas's decisions as a Justice.

For his part, Crow told ProPublica in a statement that he and his wife "have never sought to influence Justice Thomas on any legal or political issue.":mjlol:

Insider has reached out to representatives for Manchin, Sinema, Gottheimer, and Cuellar, asking them if they plan to return the contributions and whether they have concerns about Crow's relationship with Justice Thomas. We will update this story if we receive a response.

Clarence Thomas’ Billionaire Buddy Has a Vast Collection of Hitler Paintings, Nazi Memorabilia

Following the news of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ unethical friendship with GOP megadonor Harlan Crow, more details about the Texas real estate mogul have emerged, including a report that Crow is an avid collector of Adolf Hitler items.
The Washingtonian on Friday resurfaced a 2014 article by the Dallas Morning News where a tour of Crow’s Dallas-area mansion revealed the billionaire’s historical collection includes a startling amount of Nazi memorabilia, including a copy of Mein Kampf signed by the author himself, a pair of the failed artist-turned-dictator’s cityscape paintings, Nazi medallions, swastika-embossed linens and more.

Somehow less alarming but still strange is the “Garden of Evil” in Crow’s backyard, where statues of infamous despots like Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu, Yugoslav dictator Josip Broz Tito, and Russia’s Joseph Stalin and Vladimir Lenin reside.

While Crow was reluctant to discuss his collection with the Dallas Morning News at the time, he did make sure to note that he did not commission the dictator statues; rather they were actual monuments that resided in public squares of the dictators’ countries until they were toppled by citizens at the end of their regimes. The statues were then smuggled out of their respective countries, with Crow purchasing them to construct a garden oasis dedicated to “man’s inhumanity to man,” as the Dallas Morning News wrote.

While Crow’s vast historical collection does boast plenty of impressive items — like signed documents by George Washington and Christopher Columbus, a Winston Churchill statue, Monet paintings and other noteworthy non-fascist things — strolling through Crow’s gallery could be a bit jarring: As the newspaper wrote, when gazing at the walls of Crow’s home, paintings by Norman Rockwell and George W. Bush are adjacent to those done by Hitler.

“I still can’t get over the collection of Nazi memorabilia,” a visitor of Crow’s home told the Washingtonian. “It would have been helpful to have someone explain the significance of all the items. Without that context, you sort of just gasp when you walk into the room.”

On Friday, following the ProPublica report into GOP megadonor Crow’s showering of Thomas with gifts — including luxury getaways, trips aboard superyachts and more — the Supreme Court Justice said in a statement that he didn’t see what all the fuss was about.

“Harlan and Kathy Crow are among our dearest friends, and we have been friends for over twenty-five years. As friends do, we have joined them on a number of family trips during the more than quarter century we have known them,” the conservative justice said in a statement, adding that he was told he didn’t need to report “this sort of personal hospitality” and that he will adhere to new Judicial Conference guidelines in the future.
