In my upbringing it was most certainly off limits for an adult to approach someone else's child the way you saw in that video.

with me being a New York City black youth, spending a weekend in let's say suburban Long Island. For some white man to speak to me in a condenseding, agressive, beliting fashion about me in his neighborhood and for him to entering my personal space with his hands in my face and his voice raised cursing at me, that shyt would be too reminiscent of some Jim Crow era shyt.

So I empathize with the kid, and I don't blame him. This is deeper than just son dispute. Like I said earlier, you only see this type of aggression from white folks directed at us. And if I seen that cracker talking to a black child in that fashion I would give him the hands and the feet. that motherfukker was out of line, period. And being an adult shouldn't save him. Being an adult should have made him act in a less disrespectful manor

I see what you're saying, but we don't know what the kid said. He was ready to fight, which makes me think he said something disrespectful. If you are disrespectful, you need to expect someone to get disrespectful back.

If you been in beef before, real beef where you can DIE, you already know how to talk to people. Even if the guy talked aggressive to me, my street sense tells me to still be calm, because I'm in someone elses neighborhood. That means I could be charged with trespassing, the police WILL find an excuse to get me, and now I'm up shyts creek. Or the guy can find a reason to shoot my ass, and get no prison time. This kid just made his life harder because he didn't like the way someone talked to him. Sounds like an idiot to me. Instead of hitting him, prove him wrong.
