willis cap hit was only 7m. I dont think we have the cap still. especially since the torrey signing will take a huge bite off, even if stevie gone
yea but im assuming a long term contract where you can spread the bonus money around

signing him would defiantly lessen the blow of losing pat

im going to assume stevie will restructure

Pats were never picking up that option...this was always a one year deal. The second year was put in place so they couldnt franchise him...Revis likes being a FA year to year.
its actually a pretty interesting model of doing contracts

of course, you actually have to have the talent of Revis and confidence in your ability to be able to pull it off, but he'll have no shortage of suitors.
