Its so bad that I'd rather my Slurs NOT sign Revis.

Mans a HOFer, dont want to waste him here. :sadcam:
He's coming to DC, I can feel it. The timing works out too well. Plus he's from Pittsburgh so its (relatively) close to home and half of The Burgh lives in DC already...

He is going to choose between the Jets and New England. No one else is in the race. It's really about how far the Pats are willing to go beyond what Richard Sherman got.

Was this NOT expected or am I missing something? This was all along a 1 year Deal, Now he got the Championship he can get all his money from a loser franchise or he can stick around get a Lucrative offer and stay winning. If we gave McCourty $47.5 I'm sure we can give Revis a VERY reasonable offer as well. We'll see.

on another note @cook do something about the racist title on this thread...

its actually a pretty interesting model of doing contracts

of course, you actually have to have the talent of Revis and confidence in your ability to be able to pull it off, but he'll have no shortage of suitors.

The danger is also in having an injury or a "down year" and having that affect your earnings, so it takes balls as well as talent.

Even with a major injury, Revis has still managed to bank, it seems. I could see another top tier non-QB following suit, but it will def take confidence.

I'm not sure what he meant by that post either.

Apparently, NE will allow Browner to talk to teams and see what he can get on the market. Not sure if he has a deal like Revis where the 2nd year is a team option or what, but they dont like his cap number at the point that its currently at.

yeah thats my point. he's basically betting heavily on himself in the present.
