How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
I appreciate your post breh.
Yeah man, it's not easy to articulate everything that is going on for me, because being white male is already coming from a place of priveledge, but even with all the advantages I have, sh1t still ain't sweet. A lot of people I know, mostly the people from the small town I grew up in, think this is the greatest day ever, and again, it is laughable to me that these folks think that this is a win for them. It really does seem like there is more racial divide in this country now than there has been in decades, and the scary part is, the bottom line from my perspective is the class divide, where the top 1% (Clinton, Trump,) pandered so hard to emphasize the racial divide, the class divide got swept under the rug. To add insult to injury, Trump has not humility at all, and just adds qualifiers to his inappropriate behavior instread

I'm assuming both of your GFs are Black? I mentioned earlier the Black women on my job and a few I've talked to outside of work are hurt over this. To be honest with you, I dont get it? Maybe as a Black man I'm that cynical and predisposed to having a fukk it mentality? I dont know. I had to tell a very dear woman that I why I cant say I share the same concerns as her, at least not how she expresses it, not to think I'm dismissing her either. I feel for her as she's a long time friend. I respect you brothers too for empathizing with your partners. Thats as a stand up as it gets, and the true definition of being a real man. Teaching your daughters self respect, courage, and dignity is a beautiful thing as well.

I just wish I could say my anxiety is the same, but I cant.

Luckily there are zero white people on my floor, the only ones in my tower are international educated white folks so I already know they would ride for Hillary.
If I hit up a bar and hear a Trump head talking shyt though..

Nah it was pretty somber today in classes. There were even a few Trump supporters but they weren't smiling or anything either. It's like they seemed down too :dwillhuh:

Yo! I noticed that too. In sitting in my car looking at the rest of the white folks walking in and out of the grocery store and some of them sat in their car for a long time before they go it. Looks on their faces was like disappointment :ehh:

I have a lot of poeple in my life, friends, family, co workers of different nationalities, multi cultural, different religions, etc.. and when my loved ones are in distress, and my team at work is stressed out, it affects me. I wasn't a fan of either candidate really, but at the end of the day, raising a daughter in this day and age is hard enough, but the school district my daughter is in is predominantly white upper class, and I think Trumps behaviour towards women in general has been diguisting and I am afraid that his past behaviour will fuel teenagers in the demographic that she is exposed to to act even more dispicable and entitled. My wife and I are both from humble beginnings, and to see people I grew up with, or people also from humble beginnings, act like they will now have a seat at the table is laughable. Believe me, I know white privilege is a thing, I do realize that the white man in America and white women got that matter already have a leg up, but to think Trump gives a fukk about the working class in America is ridiculous. My wife is really my best friend, she keeps it real as fukk with me, and she worked her a$$ off, put herself through nursing school as a single mother before we got together, had leukemia like 6 years ago, had to get a stem cell transplant, went into liver failure as a result of a negetive reaction to one of the steroids, and because of that her bones were heavily damaged in all of her major joints and because she was a single mother, had to continue to work full time as a home care nurse before she could get her hip replacements (bone on bone) 50+ hours a week. She never took a government hand out, not one time. I have tremendous respect for women, my mother, my wife, my daughter. She is far from a femme nazi, but with possibly 3 support court appointees , she is very afraid that that the issues she cares about the most (roe vs wade, equal civil rights for all, etc..) are now in limbo, and it gives her a lot of anxiety. I just got my xanax refilled this evevinh, so I will get through, just needed to vent

You're good people :salute:

My mother said yesterday that Whites will suffer the most from the foolish decisions of their obstinate peers and your experience proves that observation.

We have always been at the bottom and are adapted. But a lot of Whites when subjected to the American struggle suffer unimaginable emotional pain and trials because they weren't selectively bred like us descendants of the strongest slaves. A decade in the life of an average Black Man is probably the equivalent of what the average White American will go through in a lifetime in terms of challenges. This is why most of us are dead by the age of 60 from stress.

2008 was the first time many Whites suffered in America but prior to that I'm sure plenty of Whites suffered in silence. We at least are raised from young to expect struggles but Whites often are not and as with yesterday's news are completely taken off guard when the unthinkable happens.

Even some relatives call me pessimistic/cynical etc, no. I just call it being Black and prepared for reality in America. To be predominantly optimistic about this country is in essence in many cases to be White and privileged.

My girl a teacher 2nd grade said when she showed up the kids were in the school yard with home made anti true signs.:wow:

Kids in the the class genuinely upset. Saying how trump is a bad man and hates other races. And how they afraid they going to get deported or their friends going to get deported and grandma going to get deported and how they neighbor might lose their health care. Some even saying we can try to assinsinate him....kids was like 8-9 yet so aware.:mjcry:
