they can watch the games, buy jerseys/merchandise, and cop tix to go to the games and support, that's the only way for the league to grow so they can pay the players more and launch more franchises. they make all of these reality tv/love & hip hop jawns and rapper baby moms famous and rich by supporting their bullshyt, do the same to the non-problematic athletes.

Why else do people think Brittney Griner played in Russia?
She made ~$1 mil per season there.
Before the incident, in one season she made more than she'd make in 6-7 seasons playing in the WNBA.
She played 6 seasons out in Russia which is like playing ~40+ WNBA seasons.
At her current salary Caitlin Clark would have to play ~70 WNBA seasons to match what Brittney made in Russia.
