I'm never going to argue that wnba players should get NBA money because the revenue isn't there, but I will argue they are under paid. Bob Lanier signed a 1.2 million dollar contract as the 1 pick in 1970. That dwarfs anything the wnba pays and I'm not factoring in inflation.

It took those guys growing the game...putting it on the map and making it global. Which is why the league was able to explode in revenue.

Those guys never got compensated fairly for what they brought to the game. But what Pioneer is ever given their just due?
