I think I mentioned this previously but when we were in Freetown, we stopped by a little store. The store owner was clearly bleached (shyt looked TERRIBLE) and had it all over her beautiful daughter's face

My mom noticed I was about to speak and she gave me those "please don't say anything" faces

that's fukked up that its being done to children. should be illegal until come of age. just like tattoos although this shyt is worse.

Outside of producing the likes of the prophet the honorable Marcus Messiah Garvey you don't hear much about black activism, black nationalism or the sole upliftment of the African diaspora in Jamaica. If you do I believe it's from hypocrites, bald heads and agents of Babylon perpetrating the system because for example how you gonna sing bout Africa this and that and with a white woman. Jamaicans at least embrace their Africanness from my experience. it is a tough island with strong willed people who will do as they please..whether it is bleaching or being proBlack they don't hide who they are..
If anything I'd say Jamaicans are more proBlack than African Americans.
Also Jamaicans are living in a majority Black Country unlike African Americans and government themselves so realities will be different.

It's alot of hypocrosy in Jamaica. The people don't even know how bad they are programmed to be c00ns and think like c00ns. Because the country so poor despite what self love they may have they understand that it's best to c00n to get ahead. For instance the Rastaman selling his coconut water at the ports when the cruise ships come in. In order to make any money he has to c00n to the white folks to get some money I say this because Jamaicans will act differently to black tourists vs white or foreign tourists. I get what you saying because I'm problack, strong willed and embrace plus defend, my African roots. I don't c00n, I don't let other races belittle and disrespect. I used to get jumped as a yute by African-Americans because they thought I was better than them but it wasn't that, it was I had knowledge of self, pride and wasn't broken by racist system like what exist in the United States. But to stay on topic, I don't agree with bleaching your skin to look fair. Black is beautiful and fukk these c00ns who yassah boss, c00n, and hold these cacs and other races in high regards.
