you can't be a fan of Ghostface and claim you don't like another rapper cause he allegedly spitting gibberish.
Supreme Clientele is one of the greatest rap albums ever made, and it's more decipherable "jibberish" on that album than all 24 e40 albums.
we've always called ghost raps insanely mastered jibberish....we also think Camp Lo spit jibberish...there's really no other way to call it...but still rank ghost as a top tier mc and camp lo's album an unofficial classic....
40's jibberish was just off to me back in the day.....

While I can def feel to an extent the analogy of trying to explain to a sunny weather California living dude what it's like walking through a block in NY during the winter time, hoodied up with some Timbs on bumping the Wu or similiar East Coast music, there's more to it than just saying it's a regional thing. I've never met anybody out here on the east coast that's into hip-hop that just stays regional and doesn't fukk with West Coast shyt, and I never met anybody out here who fukked with 40 outside of one of my homies back in college who was originally from Detroit.
shyt, two of my top 5 favorite MCs of all-time are from Cali (Ras Kass and Boots), and Boots is from the Bay. I can rattle off 20 or 30 acts in a matter of seconds off the top of my head from Cali that are contemporaries of 40 that I and most people from my era fukk with, so it's more than it being a regional thing.
I guess if you're like me and don't see, or more importantly HEAR what the hype is around this nikka, no amount of explaining it is gonna make us get it.

For me E 40 was a cool addition on certain songs, but I wouldn't sit down and listen to an entire album of just him rapping.
Not breaking a sweat/slanging albums on the internet (this is like 99 btw more game)

im actually a fan of rappers that have that unorthodox ed, off beat flow cause while it can be all over the place, they usually saying some slick shyt....40, Silkk the Shocker, Serv-On, Roscoe P. Coldchain...i feel like all those nikkas are somewhat underrated because the style is so off putting to most, they aint even try to take into account whats going on lyrically.
