This shiit has crazy repercussions, even if it doesn't pass in California. Other states may feel compelled to do this, just because it was introduced and recieved this level of national attention.....I think the bill is stupid, but to be the s advocate they seem to be arguing that somewhere down the line a student can sue a university or the state for not "protecting" them on campus..... AND SO ..... the response here is to have a "verbal agreement between consenting parties" to "protect" the student and protect the university from a lawsuit (anybody can say anything and how the hell does that stand up in court, unless you mandate it be recorded or you fill out some paperwork .................................. or a phone app .. )
