Researchers say don’t blame out-of-state movers for soaring home prices

Out-of-state movers are not driving Texas' surging home prices, according to new researchfrom the Texas Real Estate Research Center.

“There is essentially no correlation between Texas' statewide home-price appreciation and migration patterns over the past 15 years," said Wesley Miller, senior research associate for the Center at Texas A&M University.

Earthquakes don’t make you nervous living out there? That’s the only thing that’d stop me from moving there. Aren’t y’all due for the big one?
:mjlol:we don't get earthquakes like that. The last big one happened in 89'. This ain't Japan. We may get a small tremor here and there but that's few and far between. And the most you gon feel, IF you do feel something is a slight jerk

Any non-native Californians better hope they don’t get caught in the BART transbay tube or on any bridges… :sas2:

When the 89’ quake hit and the bay bridge collapsed

Wait reading the first paragraph...they left the bay area because it was expensive and too much crime to go to...Miami where it's expensive and a bunch of crime? :dahell:
Relative. Houston is relatively expensive to a Beaumont nikka but a DC nikka, this place is cheap.

Miami is NOT Cali expensive...

YET...

SOON it will be with the people leaving the cities they created and bringing the same mindset to Florida.. The amount of NY, Chicago, and Cali transplants all trying to come to Miami, drove the market crazyyy.. But they all look at it as a Bargain compared to the little apt they left in NY..
I read a article that Florida’s real estate has sky rocketed the most over the past two years.
