Yea u kinda right but grew up in it all. I was born in 88 offtop I grew up off rbl posse, too short, 40, richie rich Any nikka that was really pushin a line. By 96 all I could remember was nikkas was sick after pac died like me and moms was in east oakland at the house cryin when the news came on and when biggie died nikkas was happy cuz we thought they killd pac(whitch was some ignorant shut that I didnt know at the time). 97 anytime u turnd on 106Kmel badboy was runnin shyt and everybody had lexuses and was wearing that shiny material shyt, none of the nikkas my age was checkn for no bay rappers besides the 1s that made it to radio. 98 it was cash money now if u say cash money aint have oakland & sf hoods turnt up u missing a whole era. And during that 98-2000 era roca fella & ruff ryders was running shyt out here when it come to mainstream, nobody was checkin for the 90s bay rappers besides ppl they age or who grew up off them as teens.

Definitely not perpn cuhzn I got family in fillmoe I seen the shyt happen cuz I come from that era. Yea since the 90s it was always Up the way and Down the way. But in 05 it was uptown downtown. Uptown nikkas use to say harlem. He even say it at the beginning of that song i posted and them is all uptown nikkas rich from downtown he might of been the most known nikkas to say that qoute but I knew that way before sf anthem came out.
