Liberal Paradise lol

Insanely high taxes

Over regulation of everything

Government full of beauracrats, making it large, unwieldy, expensive and inefficient

"Progressive" policies always create that boom or bust economy with the wild income disparities. A class of people getting rich off taxpayer dollars and kickbacks from a business class that uses the government and all that regulation to drive away competition and keep profits high and products expensive. And a "servant" class of people to provide "services" to the people above them.

And then there's the people whose spirit is broken so they drop out of the rat race completely, turn to drugs and alcohol to self medicate, and end up shytting in the streets.

Looking at the Dems critically you definitely see the remnants of the party that fought tooth and nail for slavery.

And people actually want the entire country ran like this.

The 405 is up there with the Beltway in the DMV area on being poorly designed roadways

Both of the roads are in a constant state of disrepair. If I didn't ride a motorcycle as my daily rider, it would not be worth living in that whole LA clusterfukk

I'm convinced that these huge projects are just a front to launder money. :jbhmm:

California seems :unimpressed: outside the major cities, just like any other state
Not recently, even rent in shythole cities like san Bernardino cost about $1200 for a one bedroom apartment in the slums. The COL in the cities are driving people to the rural areas around them which increases the living in those areas too.

Bottom line: its overpopulation. Time for Thanos to snap them fingers and wipe out half the population. All over the major metro areas in America, cities are getting too overcrowded.

You spelled "lost" wrong in the title.

I have no idea why anybody would want to live there with the host cost of living, fires, pollution, earthquakes, etc.

This is primarily driven by COL... not waning appeal. Ask anyone whose left California if they'd still leave if not for that.

I've lived in many places in the U.S. and SoCal is easily the best region. I personally plan on buying property in L.A. or Long Beach in the next five years. :yeshrug:

SoCal is my favorite place in the country, and I would move there if I didn't need close to 200k a year to live how I'm living currently.

But I'm sure you're one of the "good ones" that should be spared. It's the uncultured swine that needs to go.

Lol you're a walking testament of why socialist governments turn into fascist murderous dictatorships.
