That's why I asked what state Mook lived in. There was another guy on here complaining about how of his Republican governor and legislators didnt expand medicaid/Obamacare, he couldnt get healthcare so it really did nothing for Black people as a whole. lol

Maybe he isnt, North Carolina didnt expand Medicaid. Had they expanded, the government would cover the cost and he would've had medical insurance. Hopefully he votes, even though I think NC is heavily gerrymandered.

The fundamental dynamic is that black people are being over looked in one of the most liberal states in the country, the question is what are black people gaining by voting for white liberals? Why are specific demographic groups getting specific benefits and not black people?

When I went to D.C. last weekend, I saw a black man on 7th and Georgia next to the Archives metro station with no shirt on and no shoes sleeping on the street. He wasn’t an immigrant from Mexico though so nobody cares
