There is a difference in feel, quality and fit for a designer pair of jeans compared to a lower end pair. That doesn't mean you pay the retail price for them but chances are you will pay more. Wardrobe is an investment, imo and quality trumps quantity. Having quality clothing in your wardrobe is essential.

All that needs to be said. Plus anyone who thinks true religion jeans are quality denim are idiots, they're just a mainstream pop brand advertised to people who like to spike their hair and look like douchebags (that's my first time ever using that word). They're basically the adult version of Abercrombie and Fitch. It's quite sad imo how people will wear anything to stand out these days.

Never you mind....
Meh, I've had cheap jeans/clothes last me a couple of years with no issue. I personally wouldn't spend more than $100 on jeans and even then I would have to fall in love with them :ld: To each his/her own.

I spent like $150-200 on some Joe's jeans last year and I think it was money well invested. I wear them a lot and they still look like they came off the shelf. I've had cheaper jeans wear much quicker. :yeshrug:

I hang on to my jeans for awhile so I didn't mind paying.

Cheap in prices doesn't always mean cheap in quality. Sometimes you can find a good brand on sale and pay less than 1/2 the retail price.

Also it depends on how much clothing is in your wardrobe. If you have a shyt ton of clothes, then chances are you're not wearing those pieces frequently which helps with wear. If you're like me and just generally don't have a lot of clothing, then the quality of the fabric is really important because I wear them more often.

The burberry print is classic but holy hell....those shirts and vests are ugly as sin.

The burberry scarf is classic as is the raincoat. The rest of that shyt is tacky as hell.

They have the best Polos in the game

I dont compromise on quality

I fukks with Japanese jeans cuz i know exactly how they are made and the process they go thru
Meanwhile, Japanese peeps love vintage Levis and spend out the ass for them. Everyone likes foreign shyt and the prices reflect that demand. Not to say Japanese jeans are shyt or anything but it's hilarious when you over here buying their shyt and they're buying the shyt you think is cheap/crappy from here.

Totally get this but the cost/benefit ratio doesn't match up (in my humble opinion).

Everyone really should do what they want, but I can't justify that money for jeans. I'm not getting "twice" the fashion or "twice" the quality/longevity when I pay twice the money (normally paying no more than $80) in this case.

I want an iPad and could easily cop one... but I can't justify it (what am I REALLY gonna use it for?) so it stays on the shelf at the Apple store. Things like that. Maybe I'm just tight with my money? I dunno, brehs....
