Call me crazy, but I thought getting millions of dollars to play a professional sport should be more important than the city you are in (ACE BAILEY)

These are people just like you and me. I have received offers to make damn near twice what I make now but I would need to move to north Alabama.

I do not want to live in north Alabama so I turned them down.

You know nikkas ain’t lining up to live in a city where the majority of the people follow a religion where e color of your skin is a curse from god.

But would you do it for 40 million?

I think we use the term agent loosely on the internet, he is manager. His agency is a bigger firm.

However, Andrew Witlieb has strongly disputed the idea that Bailey does not want to play in Salt Lake City. The president of GSE Worldwide, the agency which represents Bailey, squashed the rumors surrounding Bailey during a conversation with Front Office Sports on Friday.

"He's thrilled to be going to Utah," Witlieb said. "We think he can do a lot of great things out there."

Witlieb said Bailey has no concerns over his potential playing time in Utah, and that Bailey's manager Omar Cooper worked hard to analyze the 18-year-old's best possible basketball "fit."

He wants to be a professional athlete so this is what comes with it. This is real life. Someone can become a Corrections Officer and have a 5 minute drive to work everyday. If the state says "actually we need you over here" and now your drive is over an hour... what are you going to do? You gotta either eat the transfer or start looking for something else to do.

Yes that is what comes with it but he isnt a robot. He does have a preference and folks are trying to fault these people for showing that at some point when a camera is pointed at them at all times.

The dude was a top 5 pick talent. Its not like if the Jazz didnt pick him he was gonna go undrafted. Thats the part that a lot of folks are missing. Someone was going to pick him, as a human he is allowed to have a preference. Its not like he said he isnt going to show up, he is going, he would just have preferred to go elsewhere.

Ive actually had this convo with my boy after match day in his medical program. He didnt get picked for his top selection but did get into another program. He voiced his disappointment, but he still went to the school he did match for. But an outside looking in person could easily flip that into saying "you are so ungrateful, people wish they could get into that residency and here you are voicing a disappointment".
