2013 LYRICS come back

I might have to dust off the mic and return to being an internet rapper. I will join MySpace again and treat people like they are way behind the times cause they not up on the new 'Space'.

Anyways: I been predicting that Hip Hop would turn around this year becuase of the other historical pivots. Are we outta the ring tone woods yet Brehs?

I been said that. If anything, K-Dot sped up the transition. By the end of next year, all that trashy ring tone and simple club music will be forced out of airwaves cause it isn't a sustainable business method. Lyrics sell and maintain long careers. One hit wonders will close doors.

yeah i dont think so.

what made you say so? All of the lyrical heads are selling or getting attention again. The likes of French, Waka, and Trinidad James are flopping, despite being on the radio 24/7. Only 2 Chainz is still selling.

I can only hope lyrics come back, and I think flows need to come back too.

Listening to J-Zone's recent release made me realize that rap is missing rhythm and people having dope flows is gone.

More than lyrics, I miss flows, and those are not back. Some of these new cats may have lyrics but very few have flows.

Not lyrics, but basically no more laziness. Imagine the music we would of had if these rappers just weren't like "whatever i'm still making this money who cares"
