Calling another man ugly is gay and shows insecurity

I saw something on the Coli recently and it reminded me of some things I always thought about. Specifically once when I was at the pool with friends over the summer. I took my shirt off and my friend said I looked sexy, now I'm pretty sure she was joking but I heard this guy that i went to school sounding upset saying I was ugly not sexy to some other nikka. Red flags went off in my head immediately

Is it not gay to call another man ugly? I hear dudes doing it all the time but if you think guys are ugly then logically thinking you MUST go around thinking dudes are cute

People say this kind of shyt all the time and the reason I feel it shows insecurity is 1) you're worried about another man, 2) the dude that said it about me at the pool was over weight and we rode the same bus when I was in High school so I know he got picked on for his looks (being fat, crusty lipped etc.)

I tried having this talk with my homies they agreed with me but I hear some of them calling other dudes ugly all the time.


Does anybody else think like me? That judging another man's looks all the time is a sign of deeper feelings and insecurity or maybe even jealousy

I respect that, I called my friend out on it he claimed he didn't think guys were good looking just ugly and that makes no sense. I think if you call another man "sharp" like my dad used to do then that's an acceptable way of saying it

If some dude has a big ass nose or forehead I'm sure he doesn't appreciate being called out on it. On the flip, if females like some dude for his looks and I cal him ugly, I immediately become a hater and come off jealous as OP pointed out.

Naw when I first heard it I was confused what made him say it but looking back he had some insecurity issues, do you normally say that about somebody for no reason even if you think they're bad looking?
