Excellent and wild pointWhen Hurts got to his 1st Super Bowl without Saquon all we heard was how it was fraudulent because they didn't play anybody and had a cupcake schedule and road to the SB.
Dude is named Super Bowl MVP and his team annihilates what 75% of the country were calling the greatest dynasty in the history of pro football just hours before the game, in large part because of HIS performance in the game, and he somehow walks away with even less respect than he got for losing the SB 2 years earlier.
I forget which one of my Byrd Gang brehs said it, but he hit the nail on the head when he said that the 2024-2025 Eagles squad has to be the first "Super Team" comprised of players that nobody wanted.
QB isn't a plug and play position. The Eagles offense was built around Jalen Hurts. Saquon isn't sniffing the all-time rushing record with 8 or 9 of those QBs under center. If he's on a super team, he's partially what makes them a super team.
And again, why is Joe Burrow given pass after pass (no pun intended) for his years of failures in this league with the offensive weapons he's had to work with? Jalen has had more than twice as many offensive coordinators than Baker, Jayden, CJ Stroud, and Herbert have playoff wins.
Nobody was putting Baker Mayfield in their top anything when he was getting bounced around the league with different coaches and coordinators like some QB thot. Jalen has 2 HC and 5 different OCs in 5 years, produces 2 SB appearances, 1 Chip with SB MVP, and runner up as MVP 2 years ago, yet HE'S holding the franchise back and ranked barely above half the QBs in the league?
I get that this is all rage bait and summer doldrums sports talk slop, but gimme a break with this nonsense. At WORST he's top 5.
