Cam is a top 5 Rapper from last 15 years

i've always felt like anyone that has really listened and knows hiphop knows that cam belongs up there regardless of his fisher price beat choice as of the last few years. a large majority of the hate just comes from these clowns that are mad cam went at one of their heroes, and you know how bad motherfukkers will diickride a rapper on this site. the only rapper i can think of that still maintains the same kind of skill set from when they debuted around that time is eminem. diplomatic immunity, come home with me, and purple haze can stand up there with any album releases from the 2000's. so yes, he deserves a nod.

also,...I was not a cam fan at all in the least bit before his skill evolution was solidified as great on ph.
so, you won't see me over exaggerate the ratings for those records.
cam is the first rapper of that type of pedigree to ramp up amid his career and get that good in rap history.
to the point,....I will say since 03.
cam has been the best emcee in rap from a former platinum mainstream perspective.
nobody has his output of skill, and actualized competition in the past decade.
you could vouch for jada, being almost as good.
yet, jada has not had any battles of the weight that cam has taken and excelled at.
to the point of sheer dominance, via technical knockout or actual ko.

That's a pretty narrow category you are putting him in. Best from a former platinum mainstream perspective? Who else is even in that category? Off the top of my head I'd say Nas and Prodigy have been better since 03.

Jada is another guy that's nice on the mic but doesn't have a classic album to speak of.

Also, did anyone mention MF Doom over the past 15 years? 2 classics. Obviously we gotta ignore the KMD stuff to put him in this category...
