Didnt digga do Many Men????

I think Cam needs a filtering system when it comes to beat selection...

G-Unit has used mad up-n-coming producers and their beats are WAY BETTER than most of the stuff killa uses...

I think the last somewhat big named producer cam used was ALC for wet wipes..im going just off memory

Yeah Cam pretty much takes whatever the producer gives him. And yes igga did "Many Men". Digga is one of my favorite underrated producers

To me he does. Purple Haze and SDE are clear cut classics to me. SDE is more a personal classic than a universal one, I will admit that.PH is kinda recognized as a classic in a lot of places though.

it actually is...

It was an eccentric album......

If he would have cut out a few tracks, its an undisputed classic

I like both albums a lot but neither is looked at as universal classics. I never heard anyone call SDE a classic and Purple Haze has this cult hippie following but it's definitely not a universal classic. Cam is absolutely one of the most influential MC's from the 2000's but let's not start branding his albums classic just because we fukk with him.

I know that's the thing to say cause Pitchfork ranked it high, but they are far from the only ones that consider it classic. That's kinda an excuse people use if they don't want to give the album it's full just do. Just critique the people who are ranking it, rather than critique the album. I mean, we can do that for a lot of albums. Most albums are praised to inconic status by nerdy nikkas

Not really an excuse. Hipsters really were the only ones claiming that it was manna from Heaven. It got good reviews in traditional hip hop circles but I don't recall anyone calling it a classic but hipsters.

One of the funniest things about a lot of Coli posters is that n!ggas will call ANY album a classic just because they like the album or the artist that created it. Cats gotta be objective and stop throwing classic around all willy nilly. There's no excuse for definitively stating that Cam has TWO classic albums. That's just crazy.

Purple Haze is a personal classic of mines and it really shows where Cam was about to take it until he got blackballed/dipset issues and lost the energy that got him there in the first place....

nikkas were really nervous about Cam moving up in the rap world...
