Cam was e nicest when he was with COC. His verse on Big L's first album was nice.
No one has been exposed. The Cam fanboys are desperately making false assumptions about the people criticizing him and trying to act like Cam is too advanced for the average listener. FOH with that.
Cam is technically sound. You are going way overboard with the last sentence though.

Lmao calling anything classic is revisionist. Time has to pass before something is stamped a classic. Every album that's classic was revisited and re-examined to determine its legacy, quality, etc. that's what makes PH classic. It stood the test of time. You don't have to like every song for it to be classic.
There's legendary albums that got 3 1/2 mics in the Source when it dropped. I read reviews that gave Ice Cube's first album (Amerikkka's Most Wanted) a B- grade when it first dropped. That's why people have to go back and re-evaluate these albums. That's how they become classics

I agree wit SDE clearly being his best album but its far from classic or anything close to it. Its not even on the level of borderline classics like Wu-tang Forever, Murda Muzik, Warriorz, The Fix, etc..

also,...I was not a cam fan at all in the least bit before his skill evolution was solidified as great on ph.
so, you won't see me over exaggerate the ratings for those records.
cam is the first rapper of that type of pedigree to ramp up amid his career and get that good in rap history.
to the point,....I will say since 03.
cam has been the best emcee in rap from a former platinum mainstream perspective.
nobody has his output of skill, and actualized competition in the past decade.
you could vouch for jada, being almost as good.
yet, jada has not had any battles of the weight that cam has taken and excelled at.
to the point of sheer dominance, via technical knockout or actual ko.

Not sure if this has been pointed out already, but while there seems to be agreement that amongst Cam's fans that he has two classic albums, there is no consensus as to which two albums are the classics. That, in and of itself, shows that none of his albums are classics. So far I've seen 4 of his albums called classic here.
If you ask any Wu fan what their classic album is you're gonna hear one answer, Enter the Wu. That's bc its a universally accepted classic.
