At this point Lupe is a living breathing version of Derrick Rose. Has all the talent, lyricism, punchlines, dynamic flow, and delivery when he first came out was but he had his time and blew it very shortly but doing some fukkboy shyt and now all his latest production is

Lupe is awful nowadays, no doubt about it. But, Food & Liquor > any Cam solo.

i look at it in a different context. as a huge rap fan, i understand that cam may not have that much substance when it comes to his catalog. some rappers make art, some are just entertaining. cam is definitely one of the most entertaining music acts of all time! true stills

cam mixes inside references with heavy slanguage. its really not meant for virgin ears.

theres plenty of times where a cam line that made me go was considered wack by someone.......only to find out that they just didn't get it. and 9 times out of 10, the person that didn't get it is either not up-to-snuff on a lot of things or just not the smartest person walking.......or both.

Killa was easily one of the top 5 of the last 15 years if you consider:
- Lyricism
- Fandom
- Evolution as an artist
- Trendsetting
- Timeless listening

BUT. Gotta add this in here...
If you don't mention either Styles P or Jadakiss in your top 5 of the last 15... (honorable mentions included)... I can't take you seriously.

barely anybody dropped classic albums in that timeframe. that's my point.

but he came dam close to a classic numerous times, has a classic "group" album, classic mixtapes crew & solo, etc etc. really, he has the best overall body of work than anybody you can name that debuted in the past 15 years.
