I think it's a lose lose proposition.

Kap was the first one to do it and received backlash in the beginning (Which would've been the best time for Cam to speak up). But now that the tide as turned in Kap's favor, people are now looking at Cam to say something. Even if he leans one way or another, it would be disingenuous because he was forced to say something. He would've been better off just staying quite. Do some charity work, create an organization, or continue to be about the kids.

Not to derail the thread, but by contrast, someone like Marshawn Lynch has always been himself and has almost everyone's respect.

Nor was he hired to agree 100% with all black people, because that's impossible, as there is gray area all over. You can talk about "staying on code", but what is code is that?
