He's 22yrs old and nowhere near his prime. He has plenty of time to refine other aspects of his game.
Even if he doesn't become elite in any other regard, he is a walking bucket.
His scoring prowess should be considered part of his defense because he neutralizes the effect of the opponents #1 or #2 scorers.

I don't think you can win with a player like Cam being the #1 option......

I believe Cam would be most valuable as an instant offense 6th man.......I'd be very hesitant to give him a huge long-term contract
If a player like Zion, Embiid, or Morant became available I would include Cam as part of a trade package.

Cam has actually been at least average or above average on defense most nights and he takes pretty efficient shots to be honest. Dude is usually shooting around 50 percent or better. Dudes talking about assists when the whole team is limited in spacing with Ben on the court. His decisionmaking had been much improved this year. He takes shots because he’s the best scorer on the team and Cam Johnson isn’t out there. Look at the Nets starting line up and tell me who besides him can get their own shot consistently? Bridges hasn’t been the same guy yet on offense this year but he’s getting there.
