I love Cam, but music with decent mixing has been made on tour buses before. Ignorant shyt by Jay was recorded on a tour bus.
Hell, Little Brother's entire first album was recorded in a living room where they just put the mic in the corner and faced the corner and used a mattress propped up on its side behind them to try and dampen any sound bouncing around as best as possible. Album came out solid and people love it.
