Cam'ron's Purple Haze release date was his biggest blunder ever as an artist.

December 04' was a little too late. If it had dropped exactly a year earlier when the ROC was still running on all cylinders he was out of here. It would of catapulted him into a Superstar.

Down & Out was just too good of a song to be thrown out there with basically no promo or push in that era.

Uptown, Downtown, Switzerland
he lost out on mad money and at least a couple hundred thousand in sales with DJ fukkin up the album release.

between them putting literally no money into Juelz project, under shipping then overpricing the Diplomats album and fukking up the rollout of PH Cam was already eager to get out of there..then as soon as he heard LA Reid was coming to DJ and Jay the Pres he was shopping himself while promoting Purple Haze.

"get your offers in but I'm going straight to the distribution"

Does Cams music have replay value? I never hear anyone playing that old shyt.

It depends

Some of his stuff aged well.. I can still play 55/60% of Come Home With Me

His freestyles

Certain jawns on Purple Haze still sound great

Killa Season was a really bad album to me when it dropped so I rarely revisit it.

His music has aged fine in my opinion, it’s the new stuff that’s terrible
