So many things are going on in a series or a game, but you try to quantify reality based on odds based on this idea that wins and losses are the only metric to judge players or teams and then you come off making reports about the Knicks being up 2-0 on the Celtics. Those close games happened because people played that way.
Back in the day they would be talking about the actual games and why the Celtics collapsed or how the Knicks came back. Instead we get a segment full of stats about a game
people are playing compared to random cards dealt in poker. The only time they do get into the players they mention clutch and showing a picture of Brunson because they realized they might have discovered a legitimate award to have fans argue about.
