Even then, those 3 in their primes wouldn't change the parity much unless we're gifting them their peak super teams as well (exempt from the 2nd apron).

i.e. The type of ish Giannis went through in rd1 (avg 33/15/6.6) to lose in 5... and what DMitch went thru the first 3-games in rd2 avg 41/6/6 but down 1-2? We saw peak LeBron go through that same ish vs the '09 Magic. Him and KD both chose to hop around for talent-heavy/super teams for a reason lol
Maybe, I just think all of them with one partner would have been dominant

Imagine Curry and Dray, or Lebron with Love or Lebron and Bosh but the same roleplayers.

Guys like the Kyrie and Klays in their primes need their own teams are gonna have to leave money on the table like Brunson did.

After the steal and dunk, knicks went up 9 with 3:03 left. Knicks got a stop immediately on the next play and hit a 3 to take a 12pt lead.

Not saying a comeback wasn’t possible, but with all momentum, even with Tatum, knicks win that game. Up 12 with 2:25 left

Tatum got hurt and it was a 7 point game so I don't know why we're talking about what happened after that.... I think the Knicks would have likely won it

He got hurt on a turnover that led to an open OG dunk and we took a 9pt lead. So forget everything that happened afterwards; it was a 9pt lead as Tatum went out.

Everyone stopped when he went down so of course it was an easy dunk, but it's splitting hairs. Also, even with a loss the C's would have two potential home games left. Now, I don't see this going past 5. No way it doesn't end in 5.

Jrue will at least have more value than the Latvian :francis:
Against all odds the Wizards won the smart/porzingis trade.

(Not really since you guys somehow got two firsts out of it too).

Id look into trading Brown too but I think Brown is overrated and you might not agree. Weak handle, selfish offensive game, and makes IQ plays.

Only bright side to blowing it up is that next year's draft looks strong. White/Brown/PP would probably be strong enough in the East to make play-in which I think just sets the celtics up worse long term as their core will all be 30+ basically when Tatum returns at that point.

Scheierman showed some value in the end of the regular hot stretch.

Jrue for CJ McCollum and maybe a draft pick back works, same for maybe Rozier and a pick.

I could be wrong but I think mathematically the Celtics could trade Jrue into the Nets cap and the Bucks could trade Giannis there and then Brooklyn could send both parties draft picks. Getting draft picks for Jrue would be he best option, and then wait for KP to come off the books or build value and trade him later.

Jrue, Giannis, Cam Johnson, and Nic Claxton

They did not fam. Stop man. Both brown and unfortunately tatum went down at the 3pt line while og was already at half court. No one was close.

Only players on the team I will be upset if aren’t on the Celtics roster next year are Tatum and White, everyone else can be moved

I’d rather die in a fire than have to watch Rozier or Smart play for this team again

I could see the Brooklyn move, they’re the only team projected to have significant enough cap space to absorb him or Porzingis I think

That Brooklyn move actually works well. They ain’t getting Giannis without someone else.

They can pay both Boston and the Bucks in picks. Giannis might see Jrue as the only PG he ever won with and Johnson can be their wing.

CJ as a shorter contract works, and NO needs a rebuild bad enough they might convince themselves 3 years of Jrue could help.

i cannot see the nets once again trading shyt to the celtics after what happened last time lmao.

it aint the same ownership group or front office, but that shyt is still fresh in the minds of fans.

Side note this happening in NYC is probably why it didn’t leak like other places. Some of the best surgical hospitals are here so he probably went to the hospital and they had everything ready immediately compared to situations where either doctors and staff has to fly in or the player needs to fly to the hospital for the procedure.

If it is pick 26, maybe pick 27 this year then they get Giannis for a mix of the Knicks/Nets picks later I don’t think the FO will be in danger. They legit have way too many picks and this isn’t suppose to be a strong draft.

When Billy King traded for Pierce and KG he was forced to by the new owners who didn't understand how basketball works. That shyt might legit be the worst trade in NBA history.

Now you're making excuses lol. OG played the passing lane perfect & tipped the ball before Tatum went down. Please stop lol
