Pom is a weak album. Trilla was an improvement but already aging poorly.

The next two are both very short and contain a handful of R&B cuts that pale in comparison to BIGs blueprint.

Its all opinions though. Y'all ain't quoting no verses or even naming songs. Basically your only argument for Big is that he just "was".

And if the only thing u can come up with is "Hustlin" and "BMF" as classic songs for Ross, your just as ignorant as someone who can only name "Big Poppa" and Mo Money Mo problems" as classic songs for Big.

Up your Ross discography IQ before u try to argue whose better....

Off topic but Ross don't even have a better body of work then Beanie Sigel...personally I think Beans body of work better then both these nikkas and a way better rapper... but let's be honest he don't get nearly the accolades or have the impact of biggie...but ross ain't got that over beans...nikkas laughed when I said this same shyt about beans, but they calm today and agreein over ross? Nikkas must be ross stans, desperate,or just tired of debatin and will agree wit anything nowadays

beans >>>>>>>>>>>>> ross and its not even close

i wouldnt say beans has a better body of work then big though.

edit: why should we have to drop a bunch of biggie verses and lines to prove a point?

Nah bruh.

BIG legitimately had a massive career. Ross is just sort of occupying people's interest in between superstars.

The only thing Ross can't possibly pass Big on is the legendary status ppl put him on because of his death.

Lyrically(ESPECIALLY) in 2012 its subjective. Ross makes better songs imo and will be of more value to hiphop in the end. Biggie "coulda been" but he wasn't.

Imagine if Nas died after IWW....

there would be no Nastradamous.

or if Dre died in 92, if Snoop died in 93, if Mase died in 98, if DMX died in 99, if Eminem died in 2000, if 50 Cent died in 2003, if Ye died in 2005, if TI died in 2006, if Wayne died in 2007, etc.

nikkas really think Biggie would've stayed on top of the world forever :scusthov:

I'm not really a fan of either BIG or Ross....I don't think either is wack or anything, I just think they're both kinda over rated. BIG because he died, and Ross because he benefits from how dried up the rap game is. His lyrics are ridiculously over rated because hardly anyone is trying to be lyrical nowadays.

Having said that, Ross is nowhere near BIG, on any level. The only thing he has over BIG is more material. The actual material itself though, BIG blows him out of the water. Ross is a poor man's BIG, or Rae.
