Bonds wasn't that bad of a player after the juice, though.Honestly he could have played DH 1 more year but that's another thread
Not that bad?! He didn't quit baseball because he fell off. He left as the most feared batter in all of baseball. Possibly in baseball history. His walk rate was crrraaaazy and he was still killing it the few times they actually pitched to him.

He's killing it right now. I'm rooting for him. I hope the Yanks can pull off a run deep into the postseason and give A-Rod some more at-bats. If I had to bet my money I still would say it's a long shot and would bet against it but I definitely want to see him do it.

Too bad, it'll be with an asterisk regardless.

I wonder how he holds up next year
I think he can pull off another season just like this.A Rod is mentally relaxed more then ever in his career. No Jeter,Court hearings, doesnt have to worry about fielding. However its October nd this is when it really counts,if he has a good October it will carry over.Another bad October and it will get interesting.
