I'm simply saying that it is ok to be outraged when a black is killed unjustly by a cop or white person. But it is disingenuous or outright ignorant to state or pretend (like a lot of black ppl do, don't make me pull up the youtube videos)

That this (cop or white killing) is the biggest and most damning threat to the black community. When black on black crime is far far more prevalent and is a bigger issue.

If you read my last few sentences (the shark vs. whale analogy) you'd get what I'm saying 100%

IF blacks were just as outraged and afraid (from a black lives matter or protests and statement in general) when black kill other blacks. Such as the recent facebook live stream killing.

As we are when a white person kills a black person. The hypocrisy wouldn't be there, so no one would say "what about black on black crime".

If that facebook streaming shooting was a cop instead of a black person The reaction from the black community would have been fierce.

That is the ignorant illogical hypocrisy from the black community that leds others to say "what about black on black crime".

Let me ask you a question. If America had a terrorist attack tomorrow and thousands of Americans were killed in a bombing and LeBron James got on tv and said "What about American on American crime" "Americans kill each other all the time, a lot more than terrorists" "We need to focus on American Crime"

What kind of response do you think he would get

That's actually a good point Ronnie. Lebron would be criticized heavily.

But your argument proves my earlier point. When an attack happens as you just stated, and folks lose their minds being scared to death of another attack.

Plenty of people come out and say do not demonize muslims or be afraid of another attack because that is far less likely to happen than other violent crimes in America.

And that is my point. Plenty of pundits point out the hypocrisy of polls showing terrorism is a top 3 concern. When in the grand scheme of things it is far less likely to happen.

Lastly, no one is saying do not be outrage or point out white killings. But don't say or pretend like it is the biggest threat to your kids, yourself, etc... When it happens far far less.

So again Lebron saying this, would be heavily criticized because it is Lebron. But pundits and political commentators say stuff like that all the time.

When blacks kill blacks, they either go to jail or they are killed. End of story. When white cops kill blacks, they go back to work

Do you watch your local news at night? Does your local police department have a website where they show video of crimes being committed asking for information? In my area the FBI has electronic billboards of most wanted people and they are ALWAYS black.

I don't know the numbers vis a vis which race commits the most crime (proportionally) but I know blacks are imprisoned for crimes disproportionally compared to other races and I know information about criminals is almost always framed around the narrative of black criminality. Now 30% of us live in poverty, 70% of us are b*stard children, and some high % of us are under educated and have experienced imprisonment. So it's a real possibility that the narrative around black criminality is actually legit, even if it's influenced by things out of our control like institutional racism. There is data on the fbi site if you want to draw some conclusions.

I say all that to say that other races are consistently bombarded with evidence and stats suggesting that we are committing genocide against ourselves. Institutional racism is excused because of narratives like "they are lazy", "they stand in line for jordans but not books" etc. Objectively, I could see how other races could be genuinely confused as to why black people get more upset at the relatively low number of police/racist murders in a given year when that total may be eclipsed by the number of black on black murders in a single city like chicago or baltimore. I don't agree with it because they are different things with different circumstances but it's convenient as shyt if you are trying to rationalize shyt away
