They kept BO7 a mystery. They didn’t generate hype like they did for BO6. It was bad marketing. They were banking off the fact that BO6 launch went so well that they could get away with being mysterious about BO7 but they failed to realize that the current state of BO6 has pissed off so many people. They needed to show us what they will be doing better. There should’ve been more Betas, previews and willingness to discuss feedback. That’s what they did right last year.
