I'm not speaking on your specific situation, I'm simply telling you that people are not above reproach and there's no reason to resort to shaming tactics when they're speaking their mind, even if it's in a negative light. It does not make them a 'self-hater'. Everybody generalizes everyday, that's life. It doesn't mean all, it means in general, or typically. The problem is when people are unable to separate the two. The only time someone should ever have a problem with criticism is when they fall into that category - which makes sense, because a mirror's being held up. You know the saying, "a hit dog will holler".Let me clarify. Using blanket statements regarding criminal activity for all black people isn't a critique. I've never committed a crime in my life nor had she but she felt compelled to make a blanket statement regarding said issue. But you tell it though. You were there so you know what went down.
So using your logic I can generalize bucks and wenches, since that's life right? Since people will be general, right?I'm not speaking on your specific situation, I'm simply telling you that people are not above reproach and there's no reason to resort to shaming tactics when they're speaking their mind, even if it's in a negative light. Let me give you an example: If someone says, "Black women have the best bodies", does that mean every single Black woman has a better body than every single non-Black woman? No, it means generally, or typically - and everyone seems to understand this concept, but only when it's in a positive light. As soon as it's criticism, even fair criticism, suddenly everyone's coming out of the woodworks screaming, "Not all! Not all! You can't speak on it if you haven't met every single person! You hate yourself!". The fact of the matter is, people like to pick and choose, and will proudly uphold the good generalizations; but then turn around and shame people for speaking on the negatives.

You can generalize whoever you want. My point is, your position on 'self-hatred' is not based in logic - rather, emotion. So using your logic I can generalize bucks and wenches, since that's life right? Since people will be general, right?
I also tend to think that black women have better bodies and genetics than other women.
I am not however emotional about the matter. And am using data I gathered from experience. I'm also not sure how you can tell me how I am processing my own thoughts or ideas on a thread I made. If by your logic you can't know because you haven't met me. I could be a white guy for all you know. You can generalize whoever you want. Calling someone else; an entity separate from yourself, a self-hater, is silly.I am not however emotional about the matter. And am using data I gathered from experience. There you go judging an entity separate from yourself. Why is it that you can do it? But I cannot?Calling someone else; an entity separate from yourself, a self-hater, is silly.

YesAre all instances of IR self hating?![]()
You can judge many things about a person. The one thing you can't do is tell someone how they feel about themselves. There you go judging an entity separate from yourself. Why is it that you can do it? But I cannot?![]()
And yet you tried to do that earlier, to me.You can judge many things about a person. The one thing you can't do is tell someone how they feel about themselves.

Elaborate.

There's some hint of self-hate or insecurity to willingly procreate with someone else who can eventually erase your ancestral featuresElaborate.
Hmm. So you're equating dating with potential marriage. Do you think other people can understand the notion of ancestral erasure? There's some hint of self-hate or insecurity to willingly procreate with someone else who can eventually erase your ancestral features
