Can Devin Booker be better than Klay Thompspn?

Consistency in performance is the hardest thing for freshman to master. Upper classmen are much more consistent in performance. What happens in March if two freshman have an off game? What if those two are starters and are 35% of your scoring? You go home. That's the downside to Cals recruiting style, but the plus side is that we have a chance to win it every year. We don't have to build up teams for a couple years to win it.

That boy can flat out score... I never understood why Coach Cal had him coming off the bench at Kentucky to instead play the bum ass Harrison twins . He is going to be a problem. He just needs to add to his frame and work on his handle. He could be waaaayyyyy better than Klay Thompson potentially. He will be a top 5 SG in a couple years.

He's terrible at defense. We literally beat Kentucky last year by forcing Booker to switch onto Kaminsky

thank you. Someone else actually watched the fukkin game. We literally couldn't play Booker because he was getting scored on every possession, dude just had a bad game. And that's the thing I mentioned earlier about having young players, they are inconsistent, and one off night in March and your team is sent home. It wasn't just Cacminsky either, Dekkard was getting in his ass too. Wisc had really big guards.

I think he was originally rated lower and then shot up towards the end of his recruiting process.. I think I remember him being ranked like 35 in the class early on.

And to clarify, Booker wasn't consistently terrible on defense for us, but the Wisconsin game was literally the worse defense I've ever seen him play. He doesn't have as long as a wingspan as Klay which means he won't be an elite defender, but I do think he can improve on the defensive end to become an serviceable defender.

They matched up real well against us because we had no backcourt athleticism, y'all woulda smoked them dudes.

Last year was something like Wisco > Kentucky > Duke > Wisco
