his career was like Chingy?

he literally had a street anthem in 1998 with Jay Z.. "Can I Get A" (which was Ja's song, Jay added his verse later)
had MAJOR hits on the charts (Chingy was basically a 1 hit wonder)
had a classic battle song in which he destroyed Eminem with 1 line
came back with a STREET ANTHEM even after the beef with "NEW YORK"

Right Thurr was bigger than any solo Ja record. Holidae Inn and One Call Away were successful singles too. Then there's the other shyts with tyrese and Dem which were doing good too.

Can I Get A was hot cuz it ended up being Jay's song. Had nothing to do with Ja being on it.

Ja never "destroyed" anybody in a beef, stop it.

Bleek rapped with Jay regularly... Drag-On rapped with DMX regularly... What that mean?

Chingy rapped along side Ludacris soooo.... It's all pretty even.
It means Ja was good enough to rap with the 2 top rappers of that era, not because he was a label mate (Bleek, Drag-On, Chingy).
Wow you walked right into that one. :mjlol:

Under the age of 27 u really can’t have an opinion on the matter, before 50 the perception of ja was that he was top 3 biggest hip hop artists at the time and he was looked at as the flagship artist . He was up there with jay dmx and was bigger than both for a moment
So you didn’t read the OP?
