i disagree. and so would mike jordan.

Pippen > Kobe

No one gives a Fukk about how many rings you get as a role player.

Rings as a 1st option > Rings as a 2nd option

Simple as that. Lebron getting more FMVP + 3 more MVPs + beating out Kobe statistically = he gets the props

men lie. women lie. numbers don't.

29/7/6 in 2001 playoffs ain't role player numbers. 27/6/5 in 2002 ain't role player numbers either. only ring you could say kobe was a role player was 2000.

pippen never put up the numbers kobe did. hell kobe put up better numbers in 2001 for ring #2 than bron did last season for ring #2.

chew on that.

Jordans legacy is miles beyond rings. His impact in the game of basketball from all aspects is what sealed his legacy. And nobody will ever come close to his impact. He's the first to do it.

Lebron is Lebron. Kobe is Kobe.

3 more points in lower efficiency, less rebounds, less assists, and more turnovers?

LMAO

Lebron put up better stats in his 1st ring than Kobe has ever done in any of his rings.

Not even close. He had a better chance had he stayed in Cleveland the 1st time.

He took a bad route. IMO, as soon as he signed with Miami to form a Big 3, the Jordan comparisons were wrapped.

now why you changing the subject when most of my post was dealing with your kobe was a role player for his first 3 rings argument? my argument is not who is better kobe 2001 or lebron 2013. my argument was how can u call kobe's rings in 2001 and 2002 those of a role player when they are comprable to LeBron's in 2013?

Kobe in 2001 playoffs: 29.4 PPG(47 FG%), 7.3 RPG, 6.1 APG = ROLE PLAYER
Bron in 2013 playoffs: 25.9 PPG (49 FG%), 8.4 RPG, 6.8 APG = GOAT

Now explain to us how Kobe is a role player?

now why you changing the subject when most of my post was dealing with your kobe was a role player for his first 3 rings argument? a role player scoring 3 more points than the guy you call the GOAT?

29.4 ppg on 47% shooting vs. 25.9 ppg on 49% shooting

according to you, the guy on the left is a ROLE PLAYER and the guy on the right is GOAT.

deal with this issue rather than skirting around it.

You said Kobe posted better numbers than Lebron. That's a load of crap.

Lebron averaged better stats In everything except scoring and he did it as the primary focus of the defense instead of having teams treat him as the secondary threat. Kobe pretty much got the Tony Parker in 07 treatment. He was a beast mode second option but still the second options

Lebron scored less points on lower efficiency while doing better in everything else. Lebron was better.

Same reason why that's probably Kobe's best championship season. Lebron's first ring still shyts on all of Kobe's.

mike always had the white man bowing down to him.

need to see gilbert publicly bow down to lebron (the same way he publicly destroyed him) to make this bad taste go away.

kobe's obviously a non-factor in this case cuz he had the CP3 trade nulled on his watch, the buss family hiring mike brown & d'antoni...and now trading for jeremy lin. :mjlol:
